I thought there was a chat topic, but I couldn't find one today, and thought I'd start one up. If this is repetative of somewhere else, forgive me! Anyway, here's a topic for just general talk... 9. Cheering Charm ...so I'll start, eh?  Just wanted to apologize for lack of posting... I've been travelling a lot (and will be more for Thanksgiving and end of the year stuff) and what's worse is that finals are looming so close!!! I've got to write a paper for every one of my FIVE classes... and it's gonna kill me. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say I love Project Ferret and will post more as I can... and I wish I had more time to contribute!

I think the "random things you don't know where else to put" is sort of a chat thread, but this one is OFFICIAL so it is special. We miss you when you are away, as Mrs. Bennet says in the Pride and Prejudice movie, "I thought I would have broke my heart!" Well, back to studying. I hate teachers they are evil on purpose, my history professor has assigned a huge test for tomorrow, my last class before thanksgiving break, if it weren't for him, I could join my friends in the mass class-skipping that takes place before every break. Grrrr. I must go hit the book now, this stupid test is worth 30% of my grade.

My school problems can't really compare to yours, but I get no thanksgiving break either, because I have an art project due the following monday, so I have to do a painting, a tetrad study, luckily I'm finished with my color wheel, I also have a take home quiz due, that's just for art. The school I go to requires all freshmen to take a freshman seminar that is worth one credit hour. Since I am in the honors college I took the seminar honors. It is horrible, in the next five days I have to write a paper analyzing U.S. policy on excess food distribution, and I have to come up with a final project including an eight page paper on how to solve the world population problem and a creative way to present it to the class. All for one bloody credit hour. I also have two page French composition all due on Monday, but I figure if I can make it through Thanksgiving break I should be just fine and dandy until finals hits a week later, so...Christmas break is the only thing I'm looking forward to right now. Well, I must get back to studying my fifteen minute break is over. I hate studying, it hurts my neck.

I don't get out for Christmas break until the 19th of Dec. and unlike almost every university in the country we only get three weeks for break. It is very disappointing, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.

Enjoy vacations and breaks, everyone! I think we've all been working too hard, so we should all just take a piece of paper, write down the addy to this site, and hand it in to our teachers and bosses and say, "See, I've been busy! These stimulating conversations and duels are not easy!" Then they will be so awed, they'll let everyone take a two month nap.

Don't I wish, somehow, I doubt my history professor would accept that as a good excuse for not studying for his incredibly hard tests. Grrr. It's only three hours away and I still have half of my notes to study, and I want to skim the book chapters again!!!! Why??? If he didn't look like Gandalf I would hate him so much right now.

Well, I'm off for a last minute bit of studying before I go meet my doom. I'll be leaving directly after class for Thanksgiving break, I'm not even coming back to my dorm, so I'll bid you all farewell until the next time we meet! Have a loverly Thanksgiving everyone!!! Eat lots of turkey, unless of course you're vegetarian, then you can eat lots of well, whatever it is that Vegetarians eat for thanksgiving.
