He don't live with me. He lives with my mother. :-) But I would love having them on tape myself. I have been thinking about just haven't had the money lately. One of these days! :-D

And Like I said I hated the Pivet Drive. All of it was awful. ALL!!!

This is a review at SS. It is pretty close to how I saw the film. She even set up this review really well with pictures and everything.

Which reminds me, the part where Voldermort is inside Harry was GREAT. That was the best part of the movie and great acting on Dan's part. Loved that part.

I didn't want to pass judgement on the film right away, so I have now seen it twice and have decided I still like GOF better.

I don't know that the screenwriting improved as much as it could have, and the movie had no flow what so ever. It was as if they went through the book picked out the scenes they liked and just shoved them on film in some kind of order. There's no explanatory scene between harry's deciding to go to umbridge's fire and neville luna and ginny showing up, no mention really of why they have joined the trio.

The fight was cool, but I thought the fighting smoke was a little bit of a cop out. I liked Sirius Harry and Lucius best cause you could see what they were doing. Then, there was really no grieving of anything, no talk with Dumbledore really, I wasn't as sad when Sirius died as I was when Cedric dies in GOF.

Luna and Umbridge were fantastic though, really well cast and well acted. As in all the films there were of course the wonderful characters/actors that were under used but always fun when they were on screen (Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, David Thewlis)

Some of my favorite parts were when Harry tells Umbridge in the forest that he must not tell lies, and when Sirius slugged Lucius.

The thing that bothered me most though, beyond the little things that get me because of my love for the book (it's true we fans will never be 100% satisfied) was how they characterized Sirius. Gary Oldman's acting was on for what was written, but it didn't feel that same as the Sirius in the books. He was to comfortable as the father figure I think, not enough of seeing Harry as James I guess.

Enough of my ranting, over all it was fun, I enjoyed it in 3D, and even more so the second time because I was less focused on the fast pace and jumpy scene changes.

What one place did you laugh or applaud that the rest of the audience (or most of them, anyhow), didn't?

When Ron said "seriously, Hermione, you've got to be the most amazing person I've ever met."

Did you think how they had Aunt Petunia dressed was wrong? I didn't like it at all. It was too risque for her. (And if Richard Griffiths gets any fatter he's going to die! Jeeze Louise!)

YES! Its not like the Dursely's aren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars on air conditioning...
Yeah. That would be funny. I can see it now: Harry gets mad at Vernon and makes him blow up like Marge, but instead of getting bigger and bigger he just...explodes.

There is a part in the Ministry battle where Harry shoots a spell at Lucius and Sirius shouts, "Good one, James!"

Yes there was Lupins, and I loved it! It was as iff at the last minute they were like wait, this is Sirius! I loved that part (alond with punching Lucius in the face) People laughed at that point, I clapped too!

I laughed as soon as Luna looked over he quibbler magazine and wasn't blinking, I just thought she was hysterical right then, and perfect for the part, and I was really loud (good thing the theater was dark because ppl were probably looking at me.

I was just saying this. I was really upset when Sirius died in the book, he was a more favorite character then Cedric. But Cedric's scene in the movie got me more then Sirius's.

It's true, my sadness related to the movies was opposite to how I felt for the books. I think it was Cedric's dad crying that did it for me in GOF, and I'd say it was the veil that killed it for me in the recent OOTP movie.

I was for sure Amos for me. Being a parent I could feel for him. I could never imagine the loss of a child and he portrayed that feeling. I still tear up watching it again.
