Hello fellow ferrets,
I thought since we know so little about Lily and James' relationship and marriage, we could as well try to recreate it with our own words. Have fun!
Guidelines:
* Your post can't exceed 150 words
* Don't post 2 consecutive replies, there has to be 1 in between
* Please keep everything K-rated!!!
* The following elements have to eventually be included in the course of the story:
- Lily and James' wedding, - The birth of Harry, - Their pact with Wormtail, - And their death. I will start with a note that I had posted elsewhere earlier, maybe you want to continue with their "Date" ´ J: Hey Evans.L: What do you want?J: For you to go out with me.L: I'd rather go out with a toad.J: Well, thank you.L: No problem.J: PLEASE??? L: It's alright, you don't have to further embarrass yourself.J: This is true LOVE, Evans!!!L: Oh God. Someone - kill me!J: Haha. Look, I even reserved a spot in the Shrieking Shack!L: You're kidding, right.J: Indeed I am. How about Madam Puddifoot's, then?L: Certainly sounds better than the Shrieking Shack.J: Is that a yes?L: FINE.J: I love you, Evans. L: Back off.

Remus glanced sideways at his two dark-haired friends. This had been coming on for some time, but now things were getting serious.
How would Sirius react? Black never had been very good at taking the backseat to anyone during the entire time they’d known each other. There had been occasions when it seemed Sirius and James had competed to see who could chalk up the most detention points, professors’ favours, Madam Rosemerta’s attentions, just about anything. How was he going to respond to sharing James’ time, to losing his friend’s availability?
“For that matter,” Remus thought embarrassedly, “How am I going to deal with this new development?” He surreptitiously looked at the back of Evan’s hair. The sun shinning through the window glazed it with sparkles and hues even a witch’s hair shouldn’t have. How was he supposed to be around her? How could they still study potions together?

Lily, however, was completely lost in thought, a slight smile about her lips. She knew she’d meant to say no - but she simply couldn't resist James. The way he always looked at her, pleading like a child would beg her mother for sweets... But of course this wasn't how he usually behaved, no, for everyone else he was the "cool and popular” Potter. She was the only one he was showing his true feelings. Perhaps this was why she liked him so much; because he made her feel so special.
She only woke from her daydream when her friend Emily nudged her with an elbow.
"Lily!" she whispered, "Flitwick just asked you for the spell for levitating animals!"
"Oh" Lily spoke up. "Animalis Leviosi", she said.
Flitwick, apparently satisfied, turned to the class and began to talk. Emily gave Lily an urgent look, but again, Lily drifted off…

After a few minutes the Professor interrupted their practice. "It is such a lovely day, far too nice to be sitting inside this classroom. Have this wand movement and Spell perfected by next Tuesday and begin reading chapter six in your textbooks." He paused to look around at the expectant faces. "Now shoo!"
A crescendo of chaotic noise filled the room, obliterating the discussion two Slytherin students were hidding on the far side of the room. The one glanced sideways at James and Sirius, then sneered as he leaned in closer to the other in order to be heard.
"Excellent!" Peter chattered as he stuffed belongings haphazardly into his bag. "Let's go out by the Lake. Remus can you help me with this Transfiguration essay?"

"Unfortunately, I cannot, Peter. I myself didn't finish the essay yet. Maybe you should try to do it on your own, for once." Having said that, Lupin walked away brusquely.
Dumbfounded, Peter stared at his friend's back, trying to figure out how he could apologize properly, and still get help with his essay...
"Don't worry too much about it, Peter, it's almost full moon. Remus never particularly enjoyed that time." Sirius gave him a rough pad on the back, then, turning to face James, said, “And now, Prongs, I think we have some serious matters to attend to - those Slytherins have been whispering too much lately..."

Peter looked worried and pushed forward with the crush of students exiting the room, then scurried to catch up with Lupin.
"I'm sorry, Remus," he said when he'd finally managed to get the other boy to notice him.
“What?”
“I’m not sure what I did, but you seem upset, and I didn’t mean to. Whatever it was,” he added meekly, trying to match the taller boy stride for stride, but being forced to take an extra step occasionally to keep even.
“What?” Remus repeated as though Peter was speaking some foreign language that didn’t translate well.
“I… I …really need help with the assignment and you seem… I mean…”
“It’s not you. Look, I’ll help after supper. In the library. Just not right now.”
But just as they turned down the corridor to the right, a flash of bright light knocked them both to the floor.

Breakin' the rules! There's no post inbetween, but it's been far too long! You guys blew your chance to post next!
Peals of laugher and retreating running footfalls echoed off the walls, then all was quiet. Even Peeves had missed the chaos, busy tossing bits of chalk at the students exiting near the main doors.
After intentionally taking quite some time gathering books and stashing them in their bags, Lily and her friend, Emily, walked with Alice toward the front of the room to look out the window. The first of the students were flooding out of the castle and hurrying across the lawn. The unmistakable forms of Black and Potter were in the second wave, joining what must have been several of the other classes, one complete with a Professor, already outside.
“What’s wrong with you?” Emily asked, a mixture of concern and disgust in her voice.
