Congrats on being sorted, even though you're not in my house!

Eek! I'll never be able to keep up with the posts in the Ravenclaw common room. There have been about 8 posts in just this topic in the time it took me to write a single post! I need to learn to be more succinct.

evlpez's edit: This post was in response to Born2mugglez' and GinnyAuror's recent posts in the Shameless Self-Promotion Topic.

Both of your sites are very nice! I love how "Black" House of Black is (so in character!), and the little rainbow things that folllow the cursor at Raven Nest.

Quite a bit of thought has gone into each!

Thanks for sharing!

Why thank you! Riley and I began this as an outpost for an RPG that got way out of hand...

And became a story!

So there we promote inspirations like that, and encourage writers to find an idea and...soar away with it...

Well, I just made that up...sorry if it sounds 'Gak'ie [for lack of a better term...]

Ack...so...behind...on...work.....

There are a number of ferrets who have registered with timeturner's harrypotterproject. This is addressed to you.

Registering is not enough. She asked us for help, and over the last three weeks, we, as a group, have given her very little support. Sure, we signed up, but, in general, have done nothing since. This is in spite of the well wishes and "I'm so glad someone is doing another fanlib Harry Potter project." She even went to the trouble of lining up a sponsor for prizes, and then we didn't follow through.

It's time to go on over and vote; there's only five submissions. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes or so, to read and vote on them. I know you're busy - heck I'm busy, and I'm the retired guy - but if we expect others to help us when we ask for it, and we all do, sooner or later, we need to follow through on our commitment to help another. That's what Project Ferret is all about, right? Mutual support and assistance?

In the interest of full disclosure, I have one submission this week, and McG's Cat has two (one of hers is absolutely superb, by the way!); last week AndiC and I each had one. AndiC won, and really deserved it, because she managed to write a story from a mission statement that applied to a different story than was shown as the previous winner!

I'll get off my soapbox now. Thanks for taking the time to read this - now go vote! and submit! and WIN!!

The Harry Potter Project

A thank you to the very talented and kind Starwalker for the post and for the encouragement.

If anyone can find the time, I would most certainly appreciate the effort. There are five very good stories up right now to vote on. Round 4 submissions will start on Friday. Thank you to all who have submitted, voted, and checked the site out. I truly do appreciate the support.

Also special thanks to Andi C for creating the awesome siggies!

You're very good at making people feel guilty, Clyde!
