Thanks, Ronsmyman... You know, everytime I say something to you, I have the mad urge to call you Ronsyourman, because otherwize I'd be talking about me... It's wierd.

So... Dual Language HP joke anybody?
Ok, so what happens when Harry Potter goes to Germany and all the lights go out?
There was an accident with the Philosoper's Strome.
(Strome= German for Electricity)

Harry Potter- conjures up this mental image in my head of Harry squating on the floor with a pottery weel...

I guess your mental image is better than mine because when I think of Harry Potter I think of a strange man covered in fur making a lovely pot, and there are clumps of clay stuck and matted into his great furry mass.

That's a bit gross, now that I think more about it. I don't have any clever Harry Potter riddles. I will go try to make one up so I can feel as special as you.

There is a pottery place near my college that has a HUGE yellow sign out front that says, "potter's mania" and the first time I saw it I was really confused because I thought it was some complex reference to Harry. Now it just makes me think of Harry Potter and whenever I see the word "pottermania" or even just "potter," I think of that sign. It's weird I know, but at least I'm not visualizing hairy monsters covered in clay on a regular basis! (j/k Ronsmyman--hey, that is weird--you know I wanna be just like you when I grow up)

Woohoo, I've upgraded to being a Cleansweep 7! Aww, I kind of miss being a wooly sock. If I was still a woolen sock at Christmas I might have been Dumbledore's best friend...

Here's my (very lame) multi-lingual potter riddle.

Q: What did Cedric Diggory say when he wanted to stop Miss. Delacour's flirtation? (remember that she has pale, white-blond hair, and assume she is wearing green robes for this riddle to work)
A: chou-fleur

~Laila

P.S. chou-fleur=cauliflower (white with green leaves). Chou sounds like 'shoo'... Oh dear, I warned you it was a pretty lame riddle.

Up for a random, non Hp related joke?
So... after the second Labor of Herculese, all the rivers in Greece ran dry.
They were de-hydra-ted.

Wow, where has Vlad been? Has she left us? I'm going to cry!

So, I was thinking today, I know it was very dangerous but I took a chance, Agrippa's the only guy member here! We need to recruit some more guys. If we find cool people at SS are we allowed to tell them on the down low about PF?

Vlad's computer died a bit ago... she should be back soon.

I keep reading round #8's over at SS and inviting people to come play here, too. I contacted Grayson, who won round #7 over there, at the end of #7 and told him I didn't like the Herm-Harry connection, and he responded. He just sent me a notice of his very long FF there. So I re-invited him to come here. We'll see. But YES we need more Y-Chromosome viewpoints/inputs here. We need more players altogether. smile.gif Ankha over there had a really nice piece titled "Conversations With Thine Self"... and someone named Dark_Lord did a good one titled "Exploring Animagi". Now that Potter Project is over, I've only run into a few of the mediocre ones that aren't in FORMAT and have under-development or really bad gramatical skills. More than not are quite good at this point.

I recommend a place on here to view all members . I have seen a few people around on other sites that did play during the PP but I didn't know who if they where members or not. I know there is the place where we introduce ourselves , but a place with just the list of mambers would be nice. smile.gif just a suggestion.

Ah! Such a magical place already exists. It's the "members" button, up at the top with the calendar.
