I hate when fan fic writes leave their stories for weeks on end, but I love it when really good writers add to their fan fics everyday, or more than once a day

oh and I went on J.K Rowlings official site today and read all the rumours about Dumbledore or Voldemort being related to Harry are not true, so I can't be doing with Fan Fics that say that it is.

I actually don't mind some nicknames... "Mione" isn't THAT bad...

I despise Harry/Hermione couplings.

I hate "unusual" slash pairings like Harry/Snape.

I hate relationships within a family like Ron/Ginny and Fed/George.

I hate sudden "change-of-character"s. I can take it if Draco learns a lesson, but it has to be slow and he has to learn it IN CHARACTER.

Okay, I hate song fics that have absolutely nothing to do with the song.

I hate bad grammar, spelling and punctuation. We spend sooooo much time on that in class that I can't stand it when people do it wrong.

I hat 'kewl talk', like this: Harry waz lyk sooooo happy that Ginny <3ed him dat he jumped in da lake n 8 a pasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!1!lolololol!!!1!!!1!!!!!111111!

I hate it when people post their whole story in one paragraph.

I love (obviously) well written stories.

Here is a link to a story that is a 'play' on bad fanfction. It may have alot of you pressing the 'back' button, but if you can bear it, it's quite funny. Harry Potter and the [Insert Random Plot Device Here] by Demeter Tess Reading. I'm not actually sure if you'll be able to read it if you're not a member of TheSnitch though. *shrugs* Hopefully...

Definitely, the "paragraph" thing is annoying. I also hate one shots that have no explanation or purpose but to fill up space.

Ah yes, a long list coming. I hate:

1) American Exchange students. I haven't read a single good fic with them.

2) Author notes in the middle of stories

3) Fics when the author makes up an ending obviously because they've run out of ideas or just abandons a fic completely. Unfortunately I'm guilty of the second of these.

4) Time travel fics that are just rewrites of every other time travel fics out there.

5) Anything called Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch, I honestly don't even bother reading the summary.

6)People who don't bother thinking up a decent title for their fic. eg. Harry Potter and the [insert just about anything here]

7)Severitus fics that are just a bad copy of Severitus' own version.
