Zy you make a fabulous Snape, so I'm going to have to give him back to you and force you to talk to yourself as Snape and Lord of Moldy. I think if I did Snape when he talked to Voldy, it'd be as though there were two Snapes. I wouldn't mind working together on the letters though, Zy, if you don't feel like working on having a convo with yourself. You'd have to edit it to make it sound like Snape though.

We may have the year wrong for this project. According to the Lexicon, MWPP were in school from the fall of 1970 - meaning they'd have graduated in the spring of 1976. (Lily & James had 4 years between Graduation and the birth of Harry.) The summer before their 6th year would be 1974.

I found this while looking for information on Lucius and Narcissa - knowing they are older than Severus. Reading the exchange between Regulus and Severus, I was thinking of signing up for Narcissa and wanted to be certain of how old she was and whether she'd be thinking about marriage at this point.

Lucius was a student from fall of 1965 to spring of 1971. Narcissa was probably younger, though there is no information about her age. They could have been married already by the time MWPP were exchanging letters in the summer before 6th year, though it is very possible that they were busy quietly doing bad things for Voldy.

A few thoughts:
Lucius strikes me as a calulating person - it could be that he was smart enough to get married as he entered business life in order to rise up the social ladder in his own right, placing him in a better position to serve Voldy and get away with it. I suspect that their marriage was somewhat arranged. Perhaps the Malfoys allowed Lucius to choose an appropriate bride. The Black family would be thrilled to accept/encourage a Malfoy link and Narcissa either approved of the arrangement or was too daft to know any better. (I don't think Lucius would marry an idiot though, idiots make mistakes and could jeopardize 'the cause'.) The pair would spend several years firmly establishing social status and furthering Voldy's Cause before deciding to have a child. I like to think that Narcissa was an avid supporter of Voldy, but once they had Draco, her role was changed to that of 'devoted mother' without traceable ties to Voldemort, so that they may properly raise Draco - and if something should happen, Narcissa couldn't be linked and prosecuted, leaving Draco to the care of the Ministry or worse. Of course - this is all just theory.

There are seven years at Hogwarts at this time right? If they started in the fall of 1970, then they would have graduated spring of 1977, making our letters the summer before their seventh year. Hmmmmm. Now I'm all confused.

Thanks!!! The first time I saved it in Jpeg and the second and the third, but the fourth time I made sure I saved it in .gif format, I don't know what went wrong, maybe it's the stupid program I used to save it, or maybe I'm just so completely computer illiterate that I'm hopeless.

You're right - my mistake. (the year numbers aren't well lined-up in the timeline.) ... their first year would start in 1970 and end in Spring of 1971. 2nd year ends Spring 1972... 3rd - 1973... 4th - 1974... 5th - 1975... 6th - 1976... 7th - 1977.

Yes -It was a typo. You guys read and reply too fast for me to edit my mistakes.

They graduated in 1977 and had 3 years before Harry was born.
