Sorry to promote chaos and confusion! The Marauders were talking about going on their own mini-vacation, right? Well, Cat took the initiative and led us to the next level; what happened after the vacation (since, obviously, we wouldn't write letters to each other while on vacation with each other). Right now we're all operating (as writers, that is) with only the knowledge of the letters posted. For example, Cat wrote about something happening and how she's remaining hidden for some reason as Moony. I then tried to add detail to that; neither of us really knows what the other one is thinking. Just jump into the story! It's not like we've got a plan of what's happening Part of the fun of the letter game is the way the story develops. Did that help? I'm not always good at explaining things...

Hi - back for a bit - can't stay long - I have Physics and Psychology midterms to study for -- I've written a couple of letters in Random, trying to fill the gaps and fit it into the story. I'm not quite sure what you Marauders had in mind though.

So I take it that the Marauders didn't end up going to visit Lily, well, Sirius and Peter didn't anyway. So, Lily has been stood up, another reason to dislike them all bwahahahahahaha. Time to get girly and annoying!

Moony, in your letter to Moony, you said tell Padfoot and Wormtail instead of Prongs and Wormtail. Just thought you'd like to fix it, unless it's what you meant.

Thank you! I do so love writing from his POV. It takes ages to wear off afterwords, so I'll go around all afternoon glaring at people, and telling them they're blots on the landscape. However, I will take their retaliating blows for the sake of art!

I think, like Lilly, I need another person to "talk" too. Since Severus hasn't got any friends that aren't dark, and he definatly hasn't any light ones at this point, might I request that somebody suggest a neutral pen pall for our favorite sourpuss?

I just called Severus a sourpuss. I'm in sooo much trouble!

I'd volunteer to write for Sev's Dear Aunt Whatsername (who sends him fuzzy slippers and handsome dressing gowns), but it's not exactly supported by any canon that I'm aware of.

BTW, everyone, I'm not going to be able to log on next week as I'm gone for Spring Break to New York. Anyone who would like to write as Sirius during this time is more than welcome to, or we could just write him off as ill or trapped in his room without an owl

No, his Aunt isn't cannon. I made her up. So, she wouldn't exactly fit into this, since it's "Cannon fodder." If I kept a diary, (and it wouldn't be fuzzy, and it wouldn't be PINK you dunderhead!) it wouldn't be "letters." (sorry about Snape butting in, he's impatient) So, I suppose I've just got to be dark and brooding and mysterious on my own. *sigh* I could always write my parents, but since they haven't been described other than as fighting and making Sev cry, I don't think they'd do me any good. Ah well...

I don't know... we could debate this here, but I'm of the opinion that it's ok to create a character for a purpose like this. I mentioned in one of my letters name of muggle-borns, and made up two. As long as the characters we know stay in character and the ones we invent are reasonable in Potterverse, I think it's fine and sometimes preferable. Anyone else have opinions on this?
