QUOTE I love all of these letters! They are soooo cool. I'm just amazed at how everything comes together with so many different people working and no really clear outline. Go all of us, we are AWESOME! Me too! I'm so glad I didn't sign up for James or Sirius - as you gals have really captured them, in my mind. I don't think I could write them as well as you have done - same with Lily. I think my favorite bits about this project are the cute letters between these 3. I sure wish Agrippa had time to play this game - it would be interesting to have that male perspective going on. Oh well, maybe next time.

I'm finally here! <<runs onstage, attempts a bow and falls on face>> I think RMM said that I wanted to write as Alice? Anyway, sorry to have taken so long, but I'm very impressed with everyone's work. The characters seem so real! How can I match your infinite talents? <<cowers>> Er, anyway, since I can't find very many facts about Alice, I'm going to use my imagination. If I get out of hand or overlook a fact, PLEASE PM me or something so I can fix it! Thanks!

This is all that the Lexicon says about Alice.
"Wife of Frank and an Auror as well. Alice is a round-faced woman; her son Neville looks a lot like her. Her hair is whispy and gray. About ten years ago, she was tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange and a group of Death Eaters and driven insane. Alice is currently at St. Mungo's, in Ward 49. She doesn't recognize her son, although she does realize that he is someone she likes and gives him a bubble gum wrapper for a gift. Gran, Frank's mother, dismisses the "gift" and tells Neville to drop it in the trash, but the boy pockets it. (OP) Alice, along with her husband, was a member of the original Order of the Phoenix. They escaped Voldemort three times (OP)"
So I think you pretty much have free reign in making her have any traits that you want to. Alice's letter was positively spiffing my dear! Love the britishisms, I shall have to strive to use more myself. I especially loved how you fit "nervy spaz" into it. Aaaaaah I shall have to reread Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging now.
Evlpez- You have captured Peter exactly as I pictured him. Sort of dorky and reserved, but eager to do anything anytone else wants him to do. Great job!!!
Aaaaaagh, I can't rave enough! I feel like I'm involved in the actual writing of a real Harry Potter book, or something like it. I think I need some "me" time. so that the voices in my head can go away, I'm going to go take an hour.

RMM: Yeah, I've been trying to talk myself into reading it for a second time. I've gone back and re-read chapters (DA, Fred and George) but everytime I try to go back and read the book, I stop and get angry with Harry and have to go punch my pillows or something. Whee! More letters to read! School was cancelled because of snow here, so I've got all day to do nothing EDIT: Just saw that Alice is in Bath... and now so are our fav bad guys! OoOOOOOooOo I wonder if they're gonna meet!

I think I'll have Alice take a surprise vacation or something.

Lily can still write to Alice and tell all the info, or someone's mom could go spastic at the last moment and not let him go and they could all write to him, because he's feeling left out. I don't know. There could just be a three day gap in owl post, then the story picks up after everyone has met up, and they talk about their experiences in the letters afterwards.

I asked Cat about that too, and she said something which made me feel stupid for missing it She said we just pick up again AFTER the vacation. I thought this was very clever and felt like a dolt for not thinking of it. Then, as we resume writing letters, we make casual comments about the things we did while gone. Just looked up and re-read the posts and see that Rons suggested that as well... why don't we go with that plan, then? To make sure we get all stories hashed out straight... the four meet up in Diagon Alley on July 2nd. From there, do we want to have them visit Lily in Keswick or not?

If you do visit Lily, it would probably be better for it to only be for an afternoon or so, maybe a day at the most. The rest of the time can be spent with the Marauders doing mischeivious things, perhaps trying to find out why in the world Regulus is researching werewolfs.
