That's fantastic. You're really good at this! Yeah - my free trial of photoshop ran out too - before I could get a hang of it. I ignored it for a long time, lol. So anyway, I have to use the school one now - which isn't too bad I guess. biggrin.gif

I guess I should say now that anyone who would like to make them some more customized-looking signatures may request one now and I'll try to get them done before the program goes kaput on me. No promises though.

With Narcissa's I used a font instead of freehand (It's awfully hard writing freehand with a mouse and make it look like anything but a sloppy signature).

Those look really awesome, Evlpez... I've got photoshop, but it's a way old version... I don't think it does all that sad.gif All well...

Thanks for the sig lovin' smile.gif It was really hard to find a decent pic of Gary Oldman as a young man... He originally had a cig in his hand in the pic I used, but I cut it out.

Question: Has the whole "shrieking shack incident" happened yet? In other words, does Severus know that Remus is a werewolf? It would be shaving things pretty thin if I have to find out and rescue at the same time...

No the Shrieking Shack incident hasn't happened yet. We might have to devise a new way for Snape to gain Dumbledore's trust. Does it even happen anytime soon though? When does the Lexicon say Sev turned to the good side?

Thanks Quant.

I have a question. I left my copy of OotP at home and I don't think I'll be able to go back there until the 19th of March, and I really need to know something in it. I need to know what the Sirius said about Lily and James, when Harry sticks his head in the fireplace. He says something about when Lily's affections started to change, and before I can go any further I should probably know that. So, could someone lucky enough to have access to the book look that up for me? The library on campus I guess, considers Harry Potter too juvenile for college students. I'll have to go steal it from the elementary school on campus if no one helps me out here, and I really don't want to make the small children cry.

*hem hem* And I quote...

"And," Harry said doggedly, determined to say everything that was on his mind now he was here, "he kept looking over at the girls by the lake, hoping they were watching him!"

"Oh, well, he always made a fool of himself whenver Lily was around," said Sirius, shrugging. "He couldn't stop himself showing off whenever he got near her."

"How come she married him?" Harry asked miserably, "She hated him!"

"Nah, she didn't," said Sirius.

"She started going out with him in seventh year," said Lupin.

"Once James deflated his head a bit," said Sirius.

"And stopped hexing people just for the fun of it," said Lupin.

"Even Snape?" said Harry.

"Well," said Lupin slowly, "Snape was a special case. I mean, he never lost an opportunity to curse James, so you couldn't really expect James to take that lying down, could you?"

"And my mum was okay with that?"

"She didn't know too much about it, to tell you the truth," said Sirius. "I mean, James didn't take Snape on dates with her and jinx him in front of her, did he?"

UPDATE I'm going right now to add a more detailed time line to the info page... with the major events in order so we know what has and hasn't happened yet.

Since 'Regulus' brought up Andromeda I've been thinking... Nymphadora Tonks is older than Harry & Co, but younger than Remus & Sirius.... is it possible Andromeda might already be married and has already had Nymphadora by the time MMWP were 15-16 years old? Would she be roughly Charlie Weasley's age, or Percy's?

Comments and theories welcome...

Let's see...

If the boys were 15/16 in 1975, then by 1995 (OotP), they would have been 35/36.
In OotPO, Tonks was fresh out of 3 yrs (?) of Auror school (or something) wasn't she? So that would make her about 20? That means she was born...1975...

I think to be a full fledged auror she's have to be at least a couple years older. I'd make her an infant at this point, if not a toddler.

I agree, definitly very young. Wow... that would be an interesting baby, though, wouldn't it? I wonder if she was using her powers at that young of an age, haha!

RMM: No prob! I'm trying to talk myself into reading the whole book again. On the one hand, it has the best scene EVER with Fred and George and there's the added bonus of Dumbledore's Army. On the other hand, my fav. character croaks. I've still not quite gotten over that one, haha.

Glad you like the siggy smile.gif Can you tell the background's London? I think it looks too washed out.

Side note: As I've gone by the nickname Moony for a couple years online now, I find it oddly distubring to have to write to someone else named Moony wink.gif

I didn't notice it was London, but now that I look at it I see that it is, I see the Big Ben holder. Apparently Big Ben is the name of the bell inside and not anything that we can see on the outside. I just learned this a few months back, so, in case you guys didn't know there you are.

Moony: I read the fifth book for a second time over the summer, and it cleared up a lot of stuff. Are you trying to reread it for the second time? I don't really remember my second reading because halfway through I got my wisdom teeth taken out and I was on a lot of pain killers so I really don't remember rereading the second half.

I love all of these letters! They are soooo cool. I'm just amazed at how everything comes together with so many different people working and no really clear outline. Go all of us, we are AWESOME!
