Answer: I have no idea. Vlad did the Draco/Ferret animation, and all I've done is resuse it.

SiriuslyIrish said she uses a program called Coffee Cup Gif Animator or something to that effect. It's cheap-ish, but the free trial download only lasts 15 days. I haven't bothered trying it yet.

I'll have to check it out. I've not worked with .gifs much, but I'd really like to learn how. Seems like you can do more with them (transparency, animation).

Yea, .gifs are a lot better. biggrin.gif

I use Jasc Animation Shop 3 for animating - the only problem with that program is that it doesn't recognise transparency. So my animations must have coloured or picture backgrounds.

I use Adobe Photoshop 7 for graphics - and I absolutely love it! biggrin.gif

I got Animation Shop with Paint Shop Pro (on the same CD) which I got really cheap (it was a pirate version! mua hahaha) and I downloaded Photoshop off the internet (you can even download serial numbers - *evil cackle*).

I'm rather attached to my Coffee Cup, actually. But I cheated, and my free trial download has somehow managed to last 2 months... I'm not sure how that happened.

Anyway, it's good once you get used to using it. It doesn't do anything fun like fading though, you have to mess with it a lot to get it to do that.

I've never been able to do any of the 'animation' stuff....despite the fact that I have the programs to do it! huh.gif

We should have a place where people can suggest these [to use as a signature, or other] and kind hearted people with too much time on their hands could make one for them... tongue.gif
