Howdy! I'm Lupinsmyman (won't give out my real name or else my mom would kill me ) I am twelve years old and live in Arizona. I was born in Texas , lived in Oklahoma for eleven years, then lived in south carolina for six months. I think that gave me brain damage...... *snaps back into reality* I don't think I could live without Harry Potter! That reminds me of an argument.. "Well at least my life doesn't revolve around Harry Potter!" - the other person "My life doen't revolve around Harry Potter... okay it doesn't completely revolve around it!"- me ha I hope to be sucessful in the writing career. I am currently writing a fantasy about wild horses. Well I hope to have fun here!

Good morning! My name is Amaranth, also known as wickedweasley on Snitchseeker, and Katie in lots of other places. I've always been a keen reader, and Terry Pratchett was a godsend for me when I was younger, as there seemed to be very little enjoyable fiction for my age group when I was 8. I started writing stories for fun not long after being hit in the head by a large rock thrown by someone careless on a beach- I was about 12. I think it might have knocked a few things into place! I have unsuccessfully tried to get my work published professionally before now, and like others here, I primarily write fantasy. I am 21 and divide my time between Wales and South West England (yarr, where we all be talking like pirates and drinking cider, or else we're all Hagrid-clones, depending on your point of view). I am a final year university student, and my ideal job would be as a public librarian. One day, I pray, I will earn my black waistcoat (that's a Garth Nix reference- I recommend him for the older fans of HP!). I was lured here by the Tri-Ferret Tournament, but I'm staying for the drink and nibbles.
On Snitchseeker, I was (and am) a Slytherin, and am following a proud family tradition of Slytherins (my mum was also a Slytherin). As you'd expect from Slytherins, we're occasional pranksters, with my proudest moment being convincing my younger brother that I HAD been to Hogwarts (ok, he only believed it for 30 seconds, but still!)- which involved finding special parchment paper and creating my own school letters! My parents have tricked me into reciting nursery rhymes before now and my older brother convinced me that swallowed toothpaste turns to mud in your stomach (I still worry if I accidentally swallow some).

Welcome!
Yes, please stay and write with us even when the Tourny is over. We can all hope that our little corner of the wizarding world is safe from the effects of He-Who, and you can tell us thrilling tales!
Pull up a poof and have a cuppa. The fires are warm and our forums are comfy. Can I see your Transfiguration notes?

Do you know who you're dealing with? My name is Ottery St. Catchpole and that's all you're getting out of me.
Teddy is my evil partner in crime, yo! *Teddy pops in and waves, smacks Ottery on the way out* Our ultimate goal is to take over the world so we can have Rupert all to ourselves, oh and destroy the evils of capitalism and make the world a more wonderful place by giving everyone Macs.
I'm Ottery everywhere. Trust me, I made sure of it.
I write. Everything if I can. Fantasy, sci-fi, slice of life, slice of pie? It's apple. Good ol' American Pie. Which is where I live consequently, in America, Texas but that's all you're getting out of me.
Was born in Mexico, and I'm always trying to learn French so if you know any use it on me. But write slowly.
O: I love anime. T: for the drama. O: Gone with the Wind T: For the drama O: Rupert T: For the redhair O: Chocolate T: For the sweet
I hope to be filthy stinking rich someday just so I can throw my money out the window and to spite all my evil relations when they see me squander it on the poor, and uhm...yeah, don't ask personal questions or I'll get offended yo!
I suck at grammar. Sorry. So all the help, helps. I love critiques, because all my writing is still writing and so I need to know how to get better at it if I ever plan to become a famous novelist.
Uhm...for more, go read my Autobiography on SS, but they card, you've got to be at least 13+ violence yo!
O: Ottery's had a violent life. T: What with being born in the ghetto and having to struggle in the inner city... O: Oh, shut up! I was raised in the country. T: The country of boredom. O: Word!

My name is Nundu and I am a Potterholic. I am a full fledged adult and have been for a loooong time now, but I have enjoyed renewing my writing and drawing in the past two years with the HP world. My work can be found here. Hmmm, my bio.... I have lived a fun, full life, having visited every state in the US and lived in 12 of them. I have visited somewhere around 20 countries (all in North America or Europe). A military life will allow that sort of luxury. I was a military brat and in the military myself. I now live in the southern United States where the summers are suffocatingly hot and the winters are mild. I work year-round at an educational camp which allows children and adults to fulfill a very neat fantasy. For details, go here. I've read that Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) has this fantasy. Anybody have a contact address for him? I am a voracious reader, love sewing and designing. A friend of mine and I have put our HP 'problem' to good use and have our products posted on our eBay site. I am honoured to have joined the ranks of ferret fans. I saw the advert on Sugar Quill and came over because I love the occasional fanfic challenge and I've never done a 'chain' fic before. Now that is probably far more than anyone wanted to know about me. So

NUNDU M.O.M. Classification XXXXX This east African beast is arguably the most dangerous in the world. A gigantic leopard that moves silently despite its size and whose breath causes disease virulent enough to eliminate entire villages, it has never yet been subdued by fewer than a hundred skilled wizards working together.

Whoever said grown-ups don't a) enjoy Harry Potter, b)write Fan Fic, and c)...well, okay, I've just been wondering what happens to people when they start getting older (no offense ) and they still love to do things like sing and write and imagine and have fun. See, they are normal people after all! Let me introduce myself. "The Finicky Lady" is actually the name of my sailboat, but it's close enough anyway. I just joined the ranks of Ferret Fans tonight and am really excited to be here! Oh, and by the by, I'm not from America- I'm from Texas.

Three hours isn't so bad. We did Vancouver Island to Texas in three days. Still, the symphony up there is worth it.
