Yay! My fingers are itching to start writing, I'll formulate ideas while I'm working at the library today then when I come back I just might be ready to begin. I am really excited, I love these guys.

We SHOULD be having Weasley Twins stories running in all the forums, in my opinion. wink.gif

I have a question, Cat. Whose point of view are we writing from here? Your installment (brilliant!) ended with a comment from Ron after Gred and Forge left the room. Are we following Ron/the trio around or the twins?

Whatever inspiration hits!

I just stuck that in because I felt like somebody had to cut the first piece of cake or nobody would mess up the frosting... lol.

If you want to go from first-person George or third-person fly-on-the-wall its all ok. Since the story progresses from the last post, whoever puts the next thing up can decide... and if "your" sections works better in another form - hey, we can adapt! Who would better like variety than Gred and Forge?

Hmmm...visions of Alan Rickman as an Abercrombie boy! I would pay so much to see that!!! It's better than seeing the greasy "Snape" as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility (which is a very good movie!). tongue.gif

I must admit, I am a bit confused as well. I want to contribute a scene but I'm not sure what the intentions of the last scene were...unless I get to manipulate the signifigance of the scene as I add a new installment? Sorry for my confusion! sad.gif

Sorry for any confusion...
Since this is a canon section I felt like I had to bring it back to 'regular" Hogwarts-ness... so turned it into Fred and George contemplating and plotting a prank down in their secret hide-out.

If you would like it to stand, why not have Fred convince George that it would work and that they wouldn't get 87 years of Detention with Snape, then take it the direction you have in mind?
wink.gif

Go for it!!!

Excellent, Imperia! I'm so glad you've jumped into one of our stories already!

There is the small question of whether the twins knew about Lupin being Moony in their 5th year. They left school in OotP (their final year, anyway) and Lupin did not return as a teacher at this point, so if he is there, it must be their 5th year.

Does someone have a moment to check CoS and remind us when they found out about the Marauders?

The Twins gave Harry the Marauders Map in his 3rd year, their 5th... we don't know if they did know who Prongs and Moony, etc. really were, but we don't know that they didn't either... so this works!

Oh, yeah! I forgot about that....er, hmm. We could say that Fred and George are in their final year, so by then they'd probably know from Harry and Lupin and Black (being Order members and Grimmauld and all) about the Marauders...and even though they gave the map to Harry, they're still benefiting from it. I never thought about that little catch. Sorry!
