My Way A tribute to Albus Dumbledore
And now, the end is here; And so I face the final curses. My friend, Ill say it clear, I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.
I've lived a life that's full. I've done my best and yes had my say; And more, much more than this, I did it my way.
Regrets, I've had a few; I should have told Harry much sooner. But I did what I had to And in the end, Voldemort's the loser.
I planned each charted course; Each careful place along the floo way, But more, much more than this, I did it my way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I took on more than I could do. But through it all, when there was doubt, I stood straight up and dueled it out. I faced it all and I stood tall; And did it my way.
I've fought, I've thought and cried. I've had my fill; my share of losing. Now, Harry at my side, I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that; And may I say - not in a shy way, No, oh no not me, I did it my way.
For what's a wizard, what has he got? If not purpose, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels; Not to the Ministry as he kneels. The record shows I took the blows - And did it my way!

I'm condemned by a society that demands success, when all I can offer is failure
