About the years: My bad. I just read the timeline wrong; I was using the lexicon, but I must have just slipped up on the exact date. I concur that it would be SO much easier to just change the dates rather than change our posts to fit it. So... let's just change the year. That will put us in... what year now? 1975? Oh dear, I hate numbers.
About a Lily-Alice correspondence: I just saw your letter RMM
I think this is going to be your call. The reason for the different threads for the posts is so that it doesn't get too cluttered; I think it would confusing to read a letter from Peter to James and then read a letter from Voldie to Regulus right after each other. So, on the one hand Lily is obviously tied with the Marauders, but on the other hand, Alice isn't. You two know what you're writing; if it looks like the letters are going to get confusing mixed up with the other Marauder's letters, then just move it into another thread.
Right now, I am digging the good guy-bad guy set up on the forums; we're very binary right now, ne?
About Lucius-Narcissa: This is info that JK has left open so far, so it's up for grabs. Everything people have suggested so far sounds quite reasonable and realistic, so it is going to be up to the letter writers on that one. It is my personal opinion that Lucius and Narcissa know each other, may be engaged, but aren't married yet. But that's just me.
Is that all the issues? Bop me on the head if I've overlooked something.

When I first had the idea, I was sure no one would want to participate! These all look really really good and I am going right now to catch up on all the letters I've missed in one measly day!
EDIT: I did miss something. ABout the letter from Reg to Sirius... I think it would go best in the Marauder's forum. It just makes more sense there.
