I like the thought of Hermione as a teacher (or Madam Pince's replacement in the Library), but she's married to Ron - how well would that work out, living in different countries during the school year? * (Besides, if she was there, James would have mentioned it before now, since I feel he's pretty close to her.) They might even have more kids at home, we don't know yet. Unless we install Hermione at the school soon, I think we'll know more of them come Christmas Holidays, if we keep writing.

Edit: * What I meant here is that I think Hogwarts is in Scotland - (which of course I know technically is part of Great Britain...) and that Ron (if an auror) would be living in London or somewhere close to the Ministry. We don't know if any of the Professors of Hogwarts have been married, but it would be difficult having to live at the school with a family elsewhere. I know, I know - floo powder and apparition would help, but it just seems weird.

I picture Harry and Ginny (pre-pregnancy) as aurors - maybe Ron, too (though I've read some nice ffs where he works for the Chudley Cannons Administration).

Harry ought to owl Lily and James soon with his thoughts and advice on Duke.... maybe a few installments away, there.

Cat - do you want to share your thoughts about the mysterious conversation the boys overheard, or keep it secret and see what the others make of it?

I really like that we're disposing of the time limit for chapter installments. I think this story may have some longevity, judging by the interest of the contributing writers. Yay
