I was thinking that The Weasleys and Potters had rid the world of the evil dark lord, but now have to deal with the vengeful children of fallen death eaters. The new era of evil. Maybe young Dursley has befriended their children with intent to bring down the Potter's for causing the death of Vernon. I don't know if any of that makes any sense. It makes sense in my poor abused mind.
