I do have my priorities, however I will not be able to chill at project ferret for hours every day if I flunk out of college, so just think that we're taking these blasted exams so that we can remain members of this great society.

I must go study the blasted Fibonacci sequence, grrrrrr.

YAY, Zym!!! I LOVED the 'underwear in a can' and 'Cheerfulness for dummies'!
There are a few spelling errors you'll want to fix up, but this was BRILLIANT!

Thank you very much! Actually... I was just being very lazy when I wrote that, because my head couldn't be bothered to think up a cannon reason for them to have acted like that. <_< So... I did it the easy way, and look what happened!

Great sub, ronsyourman!
Is the singing of 'Twas the night before Christmas a holiday tradition in your family?
All the scene mission elements are present here. Way to go!

GREAT SUBMISSION RONSYOURMAN!

I was so pleasantly suprized. :o Someone can indeed find a cannon reason for Ron and Harry to talk in eubonics. tongue.gif Of course, I now slighlty doubt my own abilities sad.gif but I am astounded by your brilliant sub! You rock my world, ferret! wink.gif However, I have just one question, last time I checked "Twas the night before Christmas," was a poem. I've never heard it SUNG. blink.gif Has it been musified? unsure.gif Of course, my family has always celebrated Christmas the way I described in my sub. Whith certain modifications. It's the Christ Child that brings the gifts, and rings the bell in the other room, before you rush in and see the tree which He has also decorated. Not to mention that nobody in my family has ever given anybody else underwear in a can. At least, as far as I know. rolleyes.gif

My Uncle Joe sings "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and a number of other things very badly, but only after he's downed a few glasses of eggnog. wink.gif
(OK, well maybe not, but I thought it sounded funny!)

First of all I'd like to congrtulate Zym on her submission. It was hysterical! I loved Hagrid's gifts at the end. I was especially fond of Snape's gift. "Cheerfulness for Dummies." Also an Austrian Christmas sounds like a lot of fun.

Okay, Yes, the Singing of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" is a tradition in my house on Christmas Eve, well when we're home for Christmas anyway. Last year we had to forgo that tradition when we went to St. Louis to visit the grandparents for Christmas, but this year we're staying home, yay!

Zym- "Twas the Night Before Christmas" is a poem usually and I've only ever heard my dad sing it so I don't know if he made it up or got the music from elsewhere, but in my house I've always thought of it as a song rather than a poem. Even though it was a poem long before it was a song.

Okay, I went to vote for the round four thingy, and I got really confused because you put Ronsherman. I sat there for about a minute thinking "Who in the world is Ron Sherman?" Then it dawned on me that it was me. I just thought I would share my stupidity with you all, this way you can get in a good laugh.

Thats... why I always refer to you as Ronsyourman. See? Can't get confused. Fool proof! I get confused on Snitchseeker, because people sometimes choose to call me something like "Ziggy," and then I'll scroll through previous posts trying to find a "Zyggy." Gaak. The dangers of having a long hard to type name. Even my real name- everybody spells it wrong. I have a nasty time with names, and have trouble remembering peoples'. Pity, hey?

All in all, I'd like to congratulate EVERYBODY for writing throughout the ENTIRE duel. They were all FABULOUS to the tenth degree, and I had a stupendously tough time trying to choose an "all time favorite" Good luck to all of you, in this, and all future contests! Love ya!
