Hello everyone!
McGonagall's Cat told me that you all are a bit confused about my idea involving Rita Skeeter and I'd like to apologize for that, I didn't think it would prove to be so difficult to bring her in. Here's what I thought about her role in the story:
I actually had this idea in mind, with her being a Voldemort expert, having studied his subject for years, and that she thereby became a most powerful witch - similar to Bellatrix, becoming infatuated with Voldemort, but apparently not in a good way... She got past the security because she is an animagus, and since there aren't too many animagi in the wizarding world, Dumbledore was the only one who cast a spell on the Burrow to protect from Animagi. (The other spells being cast by other members of the order who were almost equally able to do it.) So she disguised as a bug. (I thought of that because the Petrificus Totalus was also lifted off Harry when Dumbledore died.) So I thought she'd give him some kind of information about the Horcruxes (that's where I wanted someone else to get active

) and she'd become, grudgingly from Harry's point of view, Harry's companion... and that she might betray Harry in the end because her infatuation with Voldemort turned into an obsession.
Now, I'd like to know your opinions on it and whether we should let the story continue that way or whether I should just get rid of her by saying she was a polyjuiced Death Eater (Malfoy perhaps) who got into the house the same way Rita would, because when you turn into her, you automatically can use her powers.
Tell me what you think!
