I know the Board has seemed incredibly slow lately. Some of that has to do with what time your admins have here having to be spent running around with a fly swatter and smacking spy and spam bots. Honestly, it is like a doxie infestation!

Agrippa set the Board up very well and they usually don't get far enough to post any of their foul material where sentient beings can see it. But being the clever little bot-makers their creators are, they work tirelessly to circumvent all our safeguards. The Invision people, which is what our Board is, are working to counter every attack they can, but they still suggest banning the troublesome addresses by hand as they come up. At the moment we have a longer list of banned addresses and such than we have active members! Some of the bots are from very exotic climes, Russia, the Far East, and more. Still, they have to be sprayed with doxiecide or they will overwhelm us.

So, instead of being able to answer posts and participate in ferrety chats, we get to research where some address comes from, if it is a real person or something automatic, how many other places it signed up that same day (sometimes that same hour), and other time-consuming boring things. It feels like Detention sometimes.

Please keep up the good work and know that we are working intrepidly behind the scenes! And - if you should bump into Fred or George, ask them to come solve this annoying problem. It seems to be right up their Alley.
