See, that is what happens when you don't check your work. I was going to check to see if I had something wrong, but then it obliviated out of my mind completely. Bah! Sorry about that one. banghead.gif :ashamed:

But your submission was simply great chad13!! And you wrote it quite fast too. Boy you're quick. Excellent job! wink.gif

Um...does anyone have an addy for a good online dictionary. I can't find "epuration" at all of my usual haunts.

I've tried:

webster
encarta
oxford
webopedia
answers.com
onlinedictionary.biz (I found a one word definition here, but I am not convinced of the correctness of it)

epuration (ep-yuh-RAY-shun) noun

Purification, especially removal of officials or politicians believed to
be disloyal; purge.

wink.gif Google it, plus "definition," and you'll always get to AWAD, which is where I dig them up. *wink*

For those who want to know:
[From French epuration, epurer, to purify + ation.]
AND:
It contains all vowles, aeiou, once and only once.

Wow, thanks! I will be using that google trick for years to come!

Ah, Epuration. I like that word's definition. Long live epuration!

Also, thanks to Evlpez and Cherabela. I love the way you set this story up. I'm having wicked good fun with my submission today.

GAK !!!

Yesterday Voldemort took our Webpage hostage.
Access may have been restricted while we negotiated a proper ransom of Pixie Stix and chocolate.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and would like to assure all Ferrets that their site is safe and sound. (Well, except for the doxies lurking in the server...)

Due to this unfortunate series of events, and since we no longer have access to the Time Turners from the Department of Mysteries, submissions for Round Three will be accepted until 10:55 pm Eastern Zone on Thursday September 8th.

*facedesk*
Before Cat and I finalized word choice, we made sure they were 'googlesafe.' Any one of them, if typed into google, + the word "definition", will get you an answer. (An online dictionary usually works too) And, remember, friendly mods are always ready to answer questions like "What's a costermonger?" and "What's Latin for 'wooly slipper'?
